Harley Davidson X440


Harley-Davidson X440 is all set to launch in July 2023. This bike will be a direct competitor to Royal Enfield. Harley-Davidson Roadster comes with a more powerful engine than Royal Enfield. X440 can also be considered as a replacement for the company's previous model 440. Hero company is manufacturing this bike in India, while Harley-Davidson has designed it. According to the information that has come out so far, the starting price of X440 can be Rs 2.5 lakh.



X440 looks a lot like Harley-Davidson's Nightster. It has LED tail light, circular turn indicator, circular instrument cluster, navigation, call and Bluetooth connectivity. It is possible that Hero Motorcop will use the powertrain found in X440 in its upcoming Xplus bike. Harley-Davidson X440 can operate with an air/oil-cooled single-cylinder unit with a single exhaust. It can generate 30hp of power and 40nm of torque. There is a possibility of giving a 6-speed gearbox to boost its power.


The launch of Harley-Davidson X440 is going to be a big challenge for Royal Enfield. Royal Enfield is the largest selling bike company in India. The company has a good hold in the middle segment. Harley-Davidson X440 will be a strong competitor for Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Meteor 350. It will be interesting to see how Royal Enfield reacts to this challenge.
